Imkamaraa from Bowie, Maryland, creates a unique sound in alternative and neo-soul music. Her songs reflect her innermost thoughts and resonate deeply with her audience. Influenced by artists like SZA, noname, Aaliyah, Jill Scott, and Daniel Caesar, she channels their spirit while forging her own path. Kendall Patton, a 23-year-old underground hip-hop artist from Laurel, MD, with roots in Huntsville, AL, is the founder of the DMV collective Broken KRWN and a member of Tha Heavyweights. Starting his rap career at 13 in 2014, he gained a reputation for lyricism and storytelling. His discography includes early tracks like “Dirty Secrets” (2019) and recent works such as “Jedi Rap Sh¡t,” reflecting his artistic growth.
